Referee Promotion Guidelines: Poomsae

N3

  • 18 years of age minimum
  • 2nd Dan Kukkiwon
  • Knowledge of and ability to judge up to Shipjin Poomsae
  • In good standing with Taekwondo Canada
  • Endorsement from Provincial Referee Chair
  • Attend National seminar and pass examination requirements with a minimum of 75% on each of the written test, practical evaluation (performance of Poomsae) and scoring evaluation

N2

  • 19 years of age minimum
  • 3rd Dan Kukkiwon
  • Experience at N3 class
  • Knowledge of and ability to judge up to Chonkwon Poomsae
  • In good standing with Taekwondo Canada
  • Endorsement from Provincial Referee Chair
  • Attend National seminar and pass examination requirements with a minimum of 75% on each of the written test, practical evaluation (performance of Poomsae) and scoring evaluation

N1

  • 20 years of age minimum
  • 3rd Dan Kukkiwon
  • Experience at N2 class
  • Knowledge of and ability to judge up to Hansu Poomsae
  • In good standing with Taekwondo Canada
  • Endorsement from Provincial Referee Chair
  • Attend National seminar and pass examination requirements with a minimum of 75% on each of the written test, practical evaluation (performance of Poomsae) and scoring evaluation

IR

  • Fulfill the requirements as outlined by the World Taekwondo for participation at an IR Seminar
  1. 4th Dan Kukkiwon minimum
  2. 25 year of age minimum
  • Experience at N1 class
  • In good standing with Taekwondo Canada
  • Endorsement from Provincial and National Referee Chair
  • Signature of Taekwondo Canada President
