Information Session for High Performance Pathway Kyorugi Coaches and Athletes
Event Date: June 28, 2024
On June 28th at 12:00 PM ET, Taekwondo Canada’s High Performance Director, Dr. Allan Wrigley, will be leading an Information Session regarding the new World Taekwondo ranking system and qualification for Los Angeles 2028. These new systems came into effect June 1st of this year and change how coaches and athletes will need to plan for event participation to optimize their chances to qualify for the LA 2028 Olympic Games. We will also review what we currently know about the 2025 Junior Pan American Games and how this event will integrate into the larger LA 2028 Qualification System.
This information session is free and open to all individuals in the taekwondo community (ie. athletes, coaches, etc.). The session will be presented in both English and French.
