Taekwondo Canada Names Dan-Do Sports its Official Apparel and Equipment Partner

OTTAWA—In conjunction with the first set of matches at the 2019 World Taekwondo Championships, Taekwondo Canada launched a new apparel and equipment partnership with Dan-Do Sports through 2021.
Dan-Do Sports also signed on as the presenting partner of the 2019 and 2020 Canada Open, as well as the 2020 and 2021 National Championships.
“Corporate support is the backbone to any successful team or event, so we are grateful to have a Canadian company with us in our drive to the international podium, while supporting our event-hosting goals,” said Carla Anderson, Executive Director, Taekwondo Canada. “Dan-Do Sports is a leader in producing taekwondo apparel and equipment. We are grateful for their investment in our high-performance program.”
Dan-Do Sports will provide t-shirts and backpacks to Taekwondo Canada’s 2019 World Championship Team of athletes and coaches this week in Manchester, England.
They will also provide a combination of clothing and equipment ranging from Doboks, team shirts and jackets to gloves and shin guards beginning at the 2019 Junior & Cadet (Pan-Am) Championships, as well as the 2019 Pan & Para Pan American Games Team, and for one event during the 2019 Senior Grand Prix Series.
The partnership will continue into 2020, providing apparel and equipment support to a designated number of athletes competing in the Pan Am Olympic and Paralympic Games Qualifier, the 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games, the 2020 World Junior Championships, the 2020 Senior Pan American Championships, the 2020 World Championships Poomsae, and one event in the 2020 Senior Grand Prix Series.

In addition to providing discounts to Taekwondo Canada members for Taekwondo Canada logoed online products, Dan-Do Sports will also invest in the staging of the 2019 and 2020 Canada Open, as well as the 2020 and 2021 National Championships. Dan-Do Sports will outfit all volunteers at these events with t-shirts, provide signage and podium gifts in addition to discounting the cost of medals purchased by Taekwondo Canada for each of the competitions.
