Taekwondo Canada and Captain Sports Martial Arts Team Up to Mark Your Score at 2019 Canadian Nation

OTTAWA—Taekwondo Canada has teamed up with Captain Sports Martial Arts Supplier for all Kyorugi and Poomsae scoring services and technology related to scoring for the 2019 Canadian National Taekwondo Championships scheduled for January 10-12, 2019 in Quebec City.

Captain Sports will operate the newest version of the KPNP PSS system in up to six rings at the premiere domestic taekwondo competition in Canada. In addition, Captain Sports will provide E-Chest Protectors, E-Head Gear, receivers, and judge boxes.

Poomsae events will also be scored by Captain Sports’ most up-to-date World Taekwondo approved KPNP Poomsae scoring system.

“Taekwondo Canada has a long-standing relationship with Captain Sports that has provided world class scoring at each of our major taekwondo events in Canada,” said Carla Anderson, Executive Director, Taekwondo Canada. “It is a tremendous benefit to have them back in the ring with us at the 2019 National Championships to ensure all Kyorugi matches and Poomsae competitions are scored fairly and accurately.”

Captain Sports Martial Arts Supplier, who is the authorized Canadian distributor of taekwondo equipment, apparel, uniforms and KPNP electronic scoring system, will have a sales booth available throughout the Canadian National Championships. Participants and spectators will have the opportunity to purchase all of their taekwondo equipment needs including KPNP E-socks.
