    • **Due to the delayed official release and publication of the Pan American Sports Organization (PASO) Qualification System (QS), these Internal Nomination Procedures (INP) contain substantial information that remains subject to change. Content highlighted in teal within the INP is subject to revision and will be updated once the QS is published. This version of the INP reflects Taekwondo Canada’s best estimate of the 2027 Pan American Games quota allocation and qualification processes, based on previous editions of the Games.
      Athlete, coach, and staff nomination and qualification for the 2027 Pan American Games will strictly follow the officially published QS.**

FISU SUMMER WORLD UNIVERSITY GAMES

• • The Chungcheong 2027 FISU World University Games will take place from August 1–12, 2027. At this time, Taekwondo Canada has not received information from U SPORTS regarding Canada’s participation in these Games. Once official participation and qualification information is available, Taekwondo Canada will develop and publish the associated Selection Criteria.

To ensure we select and nominate athletes with the greatest potential to perform at the Games, the selection criteria for the Mixed Pair and Team Poomsae events have been updated.
