Greg Bauer
On December 17, 2023, Taekwondo Canada suspended the membership of Greg Bauer, a taekwondo coach with Five Rings Taekwondo in Waterloo, Ontario. The suspension was deemed necessary after Bauer was charged with assault, sexual assault, and sexual exploitation of a minor female by the Waterloo Regional Police Service on Thursday, December 14, 2023. While suspended, Bauer is prohibited from attending or otherwise engaging in any Taekwondo Canada affiliated competition or event, including those run or organized by Taekwondo Ontario or any of its member clubs.
Greg Bauer’s suspension will remain in place pending the outcome of the criminal proceedings, at which time it may be revisited.
IN KYUNG KIM
In Kyung Kim has been provisionally suspended effective September 26th, 2024, by Taekwondo Canada’s Independent Third Party following the receipt of a complaint alleging serious Maltreatment.
In Kyung Kim is prohibited from attending, participating, or otherwise engaging in any Taekwondo Canada-sanctioned training, workshops, or competitions, or any other activity directly or indirectly related to Taekwondo Canada, their member Provinces, their National Interest Group, Partners or registrants in any capacity.
The suspension will remain in place pending the outcome of the safe sport complaint process, at which time it may be revisited.
