Taekwondo Canada Unveils Logo for the National Championships

Taekwondo Canada unveiled the 2018 National Taekwondo Championship logo today, three days before the event registration starts.

The logo is designed by THEY Integrated, a branding and digital agency located in Belleville, Ontario. “The new Taekwondo Canada National Championships logo has a clean type with a modern aesthetic,” said Andrew Williamson, Project Manager at THEY Integrated. “We have incorporated a black belt and the shield shape to strengthen the association with Taekwondo and its cultural spirit. This logo can also be accommodated to each host city from one year to the next.”

The event team at Taekwondo Canada is pumped to launch the new event logo.

“We think the design is brilliant. It provides good visual for our sport and it is very versatile and easily adapted to future events,” said Taekwondo Canada staff. “We believe this new logo will create strong brand awareness for the premier national level taekwondo event in this country.”

This new logo is part of Taekwondo Canada’s new communication plan, which is financially supported by the Canadian Olympic Committee’s NSF Enhancement Initiative funding. We want to thank the COC for their continuous support and we look forward to hosting the event at the EY Centre in Ottawa from February 15 to 18, 2018.
