Performance Coach Workshop Series to be Launched in January!
Posted on
Performance Coach is the Taekwondo specific workshop for NCCP Competition Development. It provides skills and knowledge to help coaches to prepare their athletes for performance at the National and International level.
To fully benefit from this series, coaches need to be able to work with a high performance, black belt athlete (junior or senior) that is ready for competition at the National or International level. Coaches also will need to complete multi-sport competition development modules through their provincial sport organizations and complete Locker e-Learning modules and evaluations. Full information may be found on the Taekwondo Canada website under Programs/Coaches/Performance Coach.
The workshops will be delivered in a series of bi-weekly webinars along with one or two training camps; the schedule will be discussed during the first webinar. Evaluations are conducted throughout the workshop series, so coaches may be certified upon completion of the program. Fees are $450 for the workshop series, $300 for the training camps and $450 for evaluation, bringing the total program fee to $1,200.
