Announcing $12 million in new Jumpstart Sport Relief Funding

Taekwondo Canada would like to pass along the latest initiative related to Canadian Tire’s Jumpstart program.

In the final months of 2020, Canadian Tire Jumpstart helped nearly 700 organizations, impacting over 70,000 kids from coast-to-coast-to-coast. Thanks to a generous gift of $12 million from the Canadian Tire Corporation to the Jumpstart Sport Relief Fund, Canadian Tire Jumpstart is able to continue to provide much needed financial support to sport organizations to help build back sport and play through 2021.

As mentioned on the Jumpstart website, the program is open to recreational programs and features opportunities for funding in terms of operations and programming and might be a viable option for respective clubs that may be struggling through the pandemic.

For more information on the program, eligibility, applications, and funding timelines, please visit The Jumpstart Sport Relief Fund website.

If there is anything we can do to assist you in any way please let us know.
