Muju Taekwondowon 2022 World Taekwondo Grand-Prix Challenge

This is the year when World Taekwondo will restart its competitions around the world. Numerous Open championships have already taken place and over the coming year and WT has many more world-class events lined up for you. One such championship is the Muju Taekwondowon 2022 World Taekwondo Grand Prix Challenge. This event is an opportunity for those Senior athletes ranked lower than 70th in the World Taekwondo Olympic rankings to compete for points and an invitation to the Grand Prix event in Manchester.

Athlete Eligibility

    • Any athlete who ranks below 70th in the WT Olympic ranking published as of April 1st, 2022 to a maximum of 32 athletes in each weight category.
    • Holder of the Kukkiwon Dan or Poom certificate.
    • Born in the year 2005 or before.
    • Holder of a valid WT Global Athlete License (GAL).
    • Event will be run using Olympic weight divisions.
    • Each country can register a maximum of four (4) athletes per weight category.

Deadline to declare commitment to be entered into the event: April 4th, 2022 at 5:00 PM ET.
