Notice to Membership and Participants Related to the 2024 Taekwondo Canada Cadet and Junior National Championships

(Updated March 26, 2024) – Taekwondo Canada would like to provide its membership and participants with an update in regards to its Cadet and Junior National Championships which will be held July 6th and 7th, 2024 at the RBC Convention Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
The Pan American Taekwondo Union (PATU) has now confirmed the final dates for the Cadet and Junior Pan American Championships being held in Queretaro, Mexico. The competition, which will be held July 25th to the 28th, was moved back a week in order to allow for better travel options for competitors.
Taekwondo Canada understands the logistical and financial constraints which are part of travelling to Mexico for national team members in such a short period of time. The organization will work diligently on logistical assistance for all who wish to attend the Championships to ensure that you are given the best opportunity to attend.
Taekwondo Canada remains supportive of our athletes, coaches and parents and we will provide more information if any plans change.
Note: Registration for the 2024 Taekwondo Canada Cadet and Junior National Championships will open April 1st.
