Registration Open for 2023 Canada Open Presented by Taekwondo Canada

Ottawa, Ontario (January 12, 2023) – Taekwondo Canada is proud to announce that registration is open for its 2023 Canada Open.
This World Taekwondo sanctioned event is an international G2 event to be held February 23rd to 25th at the Vancouver Convention Centre in Vancouver, British Columbia and will feature Cadet, Junior and Senior international athletes competing in both Kyorugi and Poomsae disciplines for gold on the world stage.
The Canada Open features the top athletes in Canada competing against athletes from North America, South America, Europe and Asia. This G2 event is the first of the season for the Pan American region and will set the standard for Pan American events.
“This event is one of only two G2 events to be held in North America this year and a significant opportunity for the elite athletes to gain valuable points towards World and Olympic rankings.”, said Taekwondo Canada Executive Director Dave Harris. “We are proud to welcome the taekwondo world to Vancouver from February 23rd to 25th and look forward to seeing you there.”
