Statement Regarding World Taekwondo Competition Rules and Division Changes

Taekwondo Canada is aware of the new rule changes related to competition and division categories which were voted on and approved by World Taekwondo to go into effect on February 16th, 2022. Taekwondo Canada is evaluating how these changes will affect future events and team selection. Once these changes are published by World Taekwondo, information will be shared on the Taekwondo Canada website. An online session to provide clarification on the changes may be held should it be deemed necessary.
