Taekwondo Canada is committed to providing its members with safe, inclusive, training and competition environments, raising awareness about misconduct in sport and providing training and resources to clubs, coaches, officials, athletes, parents and volunteers.
As part of its commitment to Safe Sport and in accordance with Sport Canada requirements, Taekwondo Canada has contracted Ms. Morgan Sim and Ms. Cenobar Parker to be independent Third-Party contacts. Both Ms. Sim and Ms. Parker are lawyers in Toronto with expertise in sexual misconduct, including allegations involving sexual, physical, and psychological abuse, harassment and assault.
In cases in which the alleged incident may contain an element of discrimination, harassment, workplace harassment, workplace violence, sexual harassment, or abuse, the Canadian Sport Helpline may refer the complaint directly to Taekwondo Canada’s independent third-party consultant, Morgan Sim or Cenobar Parker to handle the complaint.
Ms. Sim and Ms. Parker are designated individuals who can receive and review all complaints, allegations and concerns in accordance with the Code of Conduct policy.
